This course explores contemporary Latinx theatre as a tool for social, cultural and personal transformation and expression. With a focus on American plays, we will read, analyze, discuss, and perform plays as a means of understanding the influences upon the creation of Latinx Theatre as well as the influence Latinx theatre has had on specific communities and the American Theatre.
